Gorgeous little Sister Bay---the crown jewel of northern Door County--has undergone MANY changes over the past few years.
Sister Bay is a Village with under 900 residents, and it also has the oldest median age of the State of Wisconsin (because we have the largest Door County assisted living facility north of Sturgeon Bay here). The Village was built around its beach and marina, and is also the only municipality north of the City of Sturgeon Bay that also has both public sewer and water.

sister bay dog park: Town of Liberty Grove Animal Updates--a Bark in the Park

There was a spirited discussion on the use of a local public ball field (seldom used) in Ellison Bay as a dog park last night at the Liberty Grove Town Board of Supervisors meeting. This was brought on by a family with a special needs border collie that hasn't been able to successfully use the Sister Bay Dog Park. Conversation was mixed, and the local service groups and historical society will discuss the use of the field by the Sister Bay/Liberty Grove North Fire Station (just north of Ellison Bay towards Gills Rock on Highway 42) as a possibility if it … (0 comments)
