Well, the Mid-Year Review is upon us and I thought it was time to show you some data regarding the state of our real estate market for Allston, Arlington, Belmont, Brighton, Newton, Waltham and Watertown. Below is a chart displaying the Number of Sales Year-To-Date in each of those cities and towns. I created separate columns for Single Families, Condominiums and Multi-Families.

Now, here is the comparison to 2007 at it's Mid-Year point:

This week I am pulling the market statistics for Arlington, Massachusetts. As you can see, from last year to this year there has been apprecation in every sector of the market: Single Families, Condominiums and Multi-Families. Althought the total number of sales is down in Multi-Families they have had substantial appreciaton of $83,004.
