I two calls today on the Milton Multifamily Market. I thouught I would give you all the stats in this blog post. There are currently 17 multifamily properties on the market in Milton as of 9/4/2007. In the month of August, 3 new units came on the market. The remainder of the 17 came on before 8/1/2007. There were 9 price reductions in the month of August on the multis on the market. The average reduction was about $3,000. Two properties went under agreement in the month of August 2007. These were on the market about 83 days. There were 2 sales. There is a project that the Campanelli Companies is working on now in Hyde park and Dedham. There is a site with about 37 acres of land with a very large Stop and Shop distribution warehouse on it. The Campanelli Companies is proposing to annex the land on the Dedham side to Boston and to create 1800 units of housing. The only catch for Milton residents is that the acesss to the property will be predominantly over 138 down by the 1100 block of Brush Hill Road near Pauls Bridge which spans the Neponset. Here are a couple of things you should be aware in Milton at this moment in time. There are some significant things being done in town. The first relates to the Milton Public Schools.
