power: Snow Scare...Bread, Milk and a Power Inverter

This morning I stopped by Lowes on my way to the office to pickup a couple of bundles of woods and some pellets for my pellet stove insert. The place was crazy because in Greater Boston area we are getting a storm warning that is calling for over 2 feet of snow.
One of the things I just checked out was an inverter. An invertere is simply a device that takes 12 volt DC electricity that found in a car or off a car or marine battery and turns it into 120 volt AC power like that in the receptacles (5 comments)
