Minneapolis Dream Home - I Remember When It Was Under Construction As a long time resident of the Minneapolis area, I frequently walk around Lake Harriet. It's a very popular recreational area in southwest Minneapolis, connected to two other lakes and parks: Lake Calhoun and Lake of the Isles. I particularly love watching homes, yards and landscaping, and anything new along the parkway. This architect designed contemporary home was built in 2003. I imagined views of the lake out of the interior rooms, looking out to north west side, the bandshell and the beach, the gorgeous sunsets.
