KSTP.com reports that Menards has purchased the land at 7717 Nicollet Ave S adjacent to its Richfield MN store. Currently, the site is location to a Chinese restaurant, Jun Bo. It isn’t clear if Wisconsin based company is planning on expanding the current store and when. Stay tuned for more updates.

Introducing the Penn Central Neighborhood of Richfield, Minnesota. This neighborhood is located along the Penn Avenue, between Highway 62 and 68th Street. The business district is home to a variety of unique independent businesses and surrounded by prime residential neighborhood.
A group of local business owners and residents created the Penn Central of Richfield organization to work together, in cooperation with the City of Richfield, towards steady positive revitalization of the commercial. Drawings illustrating a vision for the area:
