Urban Wildland Half Marathon & 5K was founded in 2003 to save the partnership between the Woodlake Nature Center and Richfield Public Schools. The two have had a very long tradition of cooperating in educating generations of Richfield children about nature and local wildlife.
Throughout the years, the race has grown and been shaped into an earth-friendly event. All items used in the race and of recycled, post-consumer materials, and even energy used at the finish line is generated by solar batteries. Details on all "green" (0 comments)
