homes for sale: Seven reasons to Buy a Pre-Loved Home - 06/20/14 02:04 AM
Seven reasons to Buy a Pre-Loved Home, That's right, Pre-Loved, not simply Pre-Owned, because typically there has been a lot of love in most homes and really isn't Pre-Loved a nicer term than resale or pre-owned or as one of my buyers once referred to them as used homes.   But for purposes of this post we will be talking about owners who loved, cared and maintained their homes.
The proper real estate term would probably be resale home.  So let's talk about the advantages of a well maintained resale home -vs- a new build.
Established Neighborhood - Most people want … (1 comments)

homes for sale: Franklin, Tennessee's Dickens of a Christmas - Another Great Event - 12/13/13 05:03 AM
Franklin, Tennessee's Dickens of a Christmas
Too good to miss.  Of the dozen or so Franklin festivals Dickens of a Christmas is my favorite.  Perhaps it is because I have fond memories of the annual "A Christmas Carol" play by Dickens throughout my school years or the many wonderful renditions of this story, including the one that featured Mr. Magoo as Scrooge.  But of all the Christmas stories after the Nativity, this one rings true to me.
While walking around historic downtown Franklin is always heartwarming. It is exciting at the same time.  We still need a fresh market so … (1 comments)

homes for sale: Westhaven - Franklin TN's Hottest Selling Neighborhood - 08/22/13 01:12 AM
It is easy to see why Westhaven is still Franklin's hottest selling neighborhood.  Westhaven is built based on a friendlier and simpler time in America.  Where neighbors were more apt to sit on their front porch and wave.  When we could walk to the corner for our groceries and the neighborhood cafes and restaurants were the best meals in town.
The homes in Westhaven range from the high $300's to $2,000,000 plus.  The condos and townhomes (when available) go from the high $200's to the high $400's.  Southern Land developed and built this community and Ford Custom Homes builds and … (1 comments)

homes for sale: Fieldstone Farms - One of Franklin, Tennessee's Best Neighborhoods - 08/29/12 08:35 AM
It is little wonder why when we have an open house in Fieldstone Farms that most of the visitors are neighbors.  While many would say, of course, that is typical, nosey neighbors, I say not so fast my firends.
The fact is  more people in this neighborhood move either up in house or downsize here when they don't need as much house.  They move from one street to another but stay right here in the neighborhood.  Check out the sights in the video and you might understand why.
