It is little wonder why when we have an open house in Fieldstone Farms that most of the visitors are neighbors. While many would say, of course, that is typical, nosey neighbors, I say not so fast my firends. The fact is more people in this neighborhood move either up in house or downsize here when they don't need as much house. They move from one street to another but stay right here in the neighborhood. Two great Franklin TN neighborhoods for people looking for 3 to 4 bedrooms from 1200 to 2400 square feet. Falcon Creek is largely a 3 or 4 bedroom community with most of its homes under 2400 square feet. Fieldstone Farms has a wider range and varied offering from town homes, to zero lot lines and sections that offer homes up to 4500 feet. But for comparison purposes to Falcon Creek the chart below represents similarly sized homes in Fieldstone Farms. Homes larger than 2300 square feet were not included in the chart. Speaking of simpler times, on my children's recent return trip to their old neighborhood in Syracuse, NY, they visited the house they grew up in. The house was close to 100 years old at the time and they have fond memories of the house, the neighborhood and their childhood in general. I am writing about this thinking about that is the recreating of these types neighborhoods and the desire to return to a simpler time that keep some of them selling so well. My neighbor was out in her yard on Christmas Day exclaiming there is an eagle in her front garden. I thought, eagle, in Franklin, Tennessee? Now here in Carriage Park we have some interesting wildlife and especially water fowl. The pond behind Carnton Plantation and Confederate Cemetery (Battle of Franklin) is in my back yard and we have more than enough wild life, perhaps you have read about out beavers, but there is more than enough geese, occasional heron, and some large white birds that I never got close enough to identify.
