In March of 2011, I became a RAINMAKER on ActiveRain. There are a few people outside of the RAIN who subscribe to my blog and ask what is a RAINMAKER. I tell them that ActiveRain is a very special real estate online community and the RAINMAKER status allows me to publicize my blog. Several members have suggested to go back over our earlier posts for either inspiration for new posts or to improve on an old entry. I've been trying to remember what my earlier posts were like. When Jerry Newman announced the Introducing and Recognizing Newbies in ActiveRain contest, I thought this would be easy. It isn’t! Following Jerry’s link to new ActiveRain members showed what seems to be thousands of Newbies. Many Newbies really threw themselves into the ActiveRain spirit. Lots of Newbies posted compelling profiles and personal photos, as well as great articles on a regular basis. Then there were Newbies who posted in fits and starts.
