law: Atlanta Lawyer: Where to keep Living Wills, Wills, Trusts, and Deeds?
- 11/21/07 05:12 AM
Where should you keep your legal documents is a tough question because it varies with the party and the document. However, I will break it down some. Warranty Deed: Keep with the file you were given at closing. Your house is a fine place. Safety deposit box is very secure, but close to being over the top. In fact, in Georgia your warranty deed can easily be found on-line. Will: Your original should either stay with your attorney or be put in a secure location. Important Note: Your executor/executrix must be able to find it or it is of no value. (1 comments)

law: Atlanta DUI: 0.08 blood alcohol limit for a dui in Georgia
- 10/15/07 11:39 AM
Atlanta Dui Lawyer: Is 0.08 enough for a dui in Georgia? Atlanta Dui Lawyer: Is 0.08 enough for a dui in Georgia?Yes, 0.08 is enough for a per se dui conviction. Remember from previous blogs, that under 0.05 the jury is to start off thinking you were not a "less safe driver". The state would try to overcome that initial inference from the start.Between 0.05 and 0.08 no inference exists. So the jury starts off with a clean slate, so to speak (other than you are in trial which is not great)0.08 and over means you are automatically considered to be (0 comments)

The prosecution must prove that you were to get a dui (0 comments)
law: Atlanta DUI: More on the blood alcohol limits for a dui in Georgia?

Atlanta DUI Lawyer: Is .05 enough for a DUI conviction in Georgia? Atlanta DUI Lawyer: Is .05 enough for a DUI conviction in Georgia?Yes, most people have heard of the .08 number for the Georgia dui. This is just another category upon which the state of Georgia can convict you for the Dui. They will have to prove at trial that, although you didn't meet the .08 level, you were still impaired enough to be a less safe driver. Therefore, you can be convicted for a Dui with only a .05 blood alcohol level. The inference to the jury is that (0 comments)

Georgia Dui Law: Is .02 enough for a DUI conviction in GA? Georgia DUI Law: Is .02 enough for a DUI conviction in GA?Actually, Yes. If you are under .05, then the state will try to prove you are a "less safe driver", and possibly gain a DUI conviction.
