nh: Nubble Light in York Maine
- 01/25/13 04:15 AM
Nubble Light York Maine Jay and I often take rides along the coast of NH and on this day we ended up in Maine at Nubble Light. This is one of our favorite spots to visit, especially in the off season. It is always so lovely no matter the time of year. We've been here to watch the Christmas holiday lights get truned on at the Light House, watch the waves whip the shore during snow stroms, during bitterly cold windy conditions and the sea is majestic no matter what time of year. We hope you all enjoy our videos and this little (3 comments)
Fort Constitution is a historical site located in New Castle NH and is open to the public. The fort is rich in history, most notably for back in December of 1774, when Paul Revere rode to Portsmouth from Boston to warn the colonists of the British Governments plans to reinforce what was then known as Fort William and Mary. The colonists ended up raiding the fort and successfully took all or most of the supplies. Many people actually think that this was one of the first battles of the American Revolution. After the Revolutionary (2 comments)
If you live anywhere near the coast of NH you’ve probably happened upon the Swans at Eel Pond in Rye NH. They are beautiful, graceful and wild. While they are not “native” to the area, they have been at home in Eel Pond for many years. The Beautiful Swans are awesome to see but they can be aggressive. They are actually called Mute Swans and were imported at the turn of the century by wealthy New York land owners and .... read more here >>> NH Waterfont Living

For all my southern friends who may have never seen a snow plow in action I dedicate this short video to you. This was taken on Route 111 in Hampstead NH as my husband and I were coming home from an appointment with a client. It had started to snow early in the morning and was winding down at the time I was taking the video. I took this video using my Droid Thunderbolt smart phone and was uploaded to YouTube unedited.

nh: NH Celebrates The Old Man In The Mountains
- 05/01/08 01:15 PM
May 3 2003 is a day many New Hampshire residents will never forget...like remembering where you were when JFK or Bobby got shot...9-11 and Martin Luther King...of course that day is nowhere near the same tragic scale and magnitude of those events, it is a day that traumatized the state of New Hampshire. It is the day that the Old Man fell. It sounds a bit strange to be celebrating an event that changed the face of our state but that is indeed what will happen this weekend. There will be a huge celebration in Franconia Notch State park this weekend...actually five (13 comments)

Dual Agency Rule change effective May 1 2007 The New Hampshire Real Estate Commission recently approved rule changes that go into effect on May 1 2007. These changes now bring the Rules (REA) in line with the Law and as some of you know changes to the law (RSA) 331-A:25-d Disclosed Dual Agent;Duties were approved in 2005 and since that time the "Rules" really didn't make any sense. Many agents seem to be a little confused by the difference between RSA's (Laws) and the REA's (Rules)...what is what...and which one do you listen to? Now that won't be a problem (28 comments)
