Head to downtown Columbia for the last Twilight Festival of June. From 6:00 - 9:00 pm in "The District" join other Columbia residents as they celebrate the joy of community that makes living in Columbia so special. The District comes alive with street bands, carriage rides, an evening concert series and a Kids´ Camp with hands-on activities for the little ones. Listen to music ranging from jazz to bluegrass to string quartets. Enjoy the talents of local artists exhibiting their wares and giving demonstrations of their technique. The Living Windows Festival in the downtown District will be Friday, December 7 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Businesses that are participating will have live performances of popular holiday scenes in their store front windows. This is an annual festival that celebrates the start of the holiday shopping season and marks the start of extended shopping hours for some of the downtown businesses. In addition to the window displays, there will also be Carolers and holiday music, free carriage rides, Carolers and other holiday music and even a visit from Santa Claus!
