History of Daylight Savings Time I always thought the clocks were adjusted to give the farmers more daylight to work the crops. Not true. Daylight Savings time begins each year at 2:00 A.M. on the second Sunday in March, with clocks moving ahead one hour. Standard time begins each year at 2:00 A.M. on the first Sunday in November, with clocks moving one hour back. Hawaii and Arizona do not change their clocks. Someone took our debit card number and tried to use it 7 times for the same amount of $500.00. It came from a very well known online anti -virus company. Thank goodness our Credit Union caught it and did not honor it. We had to cancel the card and start over. After many calls to try to find out who did it no one would own up to it.
