sellykelly: My Sunday Without Football - 10/04/26 11:35 AM
Not every Sunday in New England is spent yelling at the TV over football scores. Once upon a time, I watched football every Sunday and even joined a football pool for a few years. Eventually, I got burnt out. I became so focused on the scroll at the bottom of the screen, tracking the other games for my pool, that I lost sight of the real reason for watching. It ended up ruining the experience for me.
Now my Sundays are filled with making things happen - a little work and a little personal time.
Today kicked off with a two‑hour … (9 comments)

sellykelly: SOLD! 38 Country Side Road, Bellingham MA - 08/28/26 12:03 PM
SOLD!         $475,00038 Country Side Road, Bellingham, MA It took longer than I expected, but we did it! We successfully closed on this stand-alone condo yesterday. The market in our area has slowed down a bit. I had pretty steady open houses, but things definitely tapered off in mid-summer when everyone was on vacation, kids were out of school, and there were graduations, weddings, and other events.
This charming ranch-style, single-level home found a wonderful buyer looking to downsize. It’s the perfect spot, with the property just a short walk to Bellingham’s downtown and common, and conveniently close to Route 495, the … (8 comments)

sellykelly: The Importance of Strong Agent-to-Agent Communication - 07/21/26 09:39 AM
In real estate, communication isn’t just helpful, it’s the backbone of a successful transaction. When two agents commit to working collaboratively, openly, and professionally, the entire process becomes smoother for everyone involved, especially the clients who trust us to guide them.
Clear, timely communication builds trust. It shows that both agents are operating as partners with a shared goal: getting the deal to the closing table without unnecessary stress or surprises. That means answering the phone when it rings, responding to questions quickly, and asking your own questions early so issues don’t snowball.
Transparency is equally important. If you anticipate a delay, a … (9 comments)

sellykelly: Reasons to List During the Winter - 11/02/25 03:03 PM
The most common question lately has been,
'Should we wait till spring to list our house?'
All kinds of buyers shop in all seasons. It’s a common misconception that most home buyers have school-aged children, and that they only shop for homes during summer vacation. According to the 2024 Zillow Consumer Housing Trends Report, only 36% of buyers have kids under 18 at home, so they’re not limited by school schedules.  Buyers searching this time of year are motivated and often moving because of a job relocation, change in financial situation, or change in family needs.
Here are some reasons to list your home … (5 comments)
