We had a spot near the highway exit ramp and it was a great show but we are ready to go after the last salvo.
Ashland is the geographic center of the State- equal distance from Massachusetts to the Canadian boarder, from Maine to the east and Vermont to our west- a perfect spot to stop...then go!!
Squam Lake is off this same highway exit 24 and the White Mountains and their ski areas are 4-10 exits North of Ashland depending on which one you are heading towards. Most notibly, Loon Mountain … (0 comments)

Another Holiday is upon us, I have begun to think about what I would rather be doing than sitting at my desk.
On July 3rd.
I know this hint is a bit subtle but can you guess where I would rather be?
Or maybe by the river.
I keep seeing the tubes, kayaks and canoes strapped to roofs going by my office and it's not 5pm yet.
Maybe an after work hike?
