marty patrizi realtor: Do You Have Any Rent To Own Deals? - 10/11/10 05:24 PM

It's a question I get quite often and I truely want to help my clients reach their goal of home ownership.  The "Rent To Own" concept is a little deeper than it sounds.  This discussion is meant for information only and you should consult an attorney before you enter into a "Lease Option" or "Lease Purchase" Contract.  That being said let's look at the basics.
The basics consist of an agreement between the seller and the buyer where the seller agrees to sell the property at a future date to the buyers at a specified price.  The price can be agreed … (1 comments)

Times have not been so good for sellers or has it?   If they have purchased in the last three to five years and didn't put much money on their down payment, they … (0 comments)

Durham NH Passes Disorderly Housing Ordinance?
9-28-2010  Town council members voted 6-3 in favor of a "Disorderly Housing" ordinance which levies fines on landlords for the actions of their tenants.  The ordinance is aimed at absentee landlords who rent residential housing and don't address neighbor's complaints of disorderly acts defined by the ordinance as loud music, boiserous parties, excessively loud or unnecessary noises, fights, and public intoxication.
Let's be honest here; the ordinance is aimed at UNH students who are renting in residential areas in response to lack of available student housing at the University.  To be fair, all disorderly conduct … (0 comments)

I have to say I've been consumed by curiosity.
9-15-2010....I've written 50 town real estate market reports in the last 15 days.  I should be spending more time with my family.  To know your market is key to working for your clients best interests whether on the buyer or seller side.  If you don't know your market, you better catch up.  The business of real estate won't be the same from now on.  There is just too much information for your prospects to dissect.  You can find all you want on the internet, just can't trust what is true.  You … (2 comments)
