I searched through the multiple listing service tonight for my buyer who is desperate to find a home in this quiet "holiday" housing market. What was encouraging was that I found two or three very strong candidates for her. What was discouraging was that I found two homes listed that had "dinning rooms" instead of "dining rooms." Really? I don't want to sound like the grouchy grammar nazi, but misspellings on that order are pretty egregious. Whenever I am helping folks buy or sell homes, I assure them of my awareness that this is one of the most expensive transactions of their lives. This … (7 comments)

Oh how I love to list a home in June! Looking through the lens of my camera, I get the front of the house in focus. It all lines up beautfully; clouds framing a blue sky, forming the backdrop for a sun-dappled home that's rising from beds of blooming flowers and grasses. That's a money shot.
