Prince William County Approves North Woodbridge Revitalization Effort
The Prince William County Board of Supervisors adopted an amendment to the County Comprehensive Plan that will take steps to revitalize North Woodbridge. The plan addresses turning 160 acres into a pedestrian-friendly area with planned residential, business and office space.
The amendment will allow for 2,500 to 3,500 multifamily units, up to 750,000 square feet of office space and up to 500,000 square feet of retail space and a hotel. The plan also includes widening U.S. Route 1 to six lanes and building an extensive interchange.
