This week (ending 11/14/08) there were 13 foreclosure homes placed on the market, 32 had price reductions and 16 went under contract. That price reduction number got my attention because it usually hovers around 12-15. Here is a chart that shows the Foreclosure Activity in the 4-county area from mid-March to present:

It is home to the offices of the Chancery Clerk, Circuit Clerk, Tax Collector and Tax Assessor. This beautiful Victorian-style courthouse was build in 1875. Even though we live on 5 acres, we only have a very small garden plot this year. My tomatoes were growing like gangbusters and I nearly drooled looking at all those little green gems. I was so excited that every plant was producing so many.
Just when the first ones were starting to turn red, I noticed black, sunken-in spots on the underside. I started checking the rest of them and a fairly good number had to be thrown out due to this problem. I consulted one of my garden books and found that it is called "blossom end rot". … (8 comments)

They are currently renovating a building formerly occupied by Deltona Lighting and they are also building a 140,000 square foot addition. The Senatobia plant will provide parts to the Toyota plant being built outside of Tupelo as well as the Hino Motors in Marion, Ark., and Nissan plants nereby. The Baddour Center was founded in 1978 by the Paul Baddour family (who started Fred's Dollar Stors).
