Yes it does hurt. I let the period for my property tax appeal slide by for 2009 and now I am paying the price - literally. The taxes I am paying based on the assessor valuation is WAY OFF for my properties. But now I can't do anything about it. So I went and researched what I could do if anything about the taxes I will be paying in 2010. Turns out I can take the matter to court...fun! Oh, I am going to bring all my properties withme with comp's so I can get them all appealed at the same (0 comments)
