Sacramento County experienced a 21.6% increase in number of homes listed FOR SALE in July 2018 vs. the same month a year ago.
For the same period there was a -5.2% decrease in homes SOLD. Pending sales increased 8%.
Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low. For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

Sacramento County experienced a -16.2% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in July 2017 vs. the same month a year ago.
For the same period there was a -2.4% decrease in homes SOLD. Pending Sales increased 1.7%. 
Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low.  For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

Sacramento County experienced a -7.5% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in November 2016 vs. the same month a year ago.
For the same period there was a 13% increase in homes SOLD, while Pending Sales increased 11.2%. 
Interest rates have increased slightly, but remain reasonably low.  For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

Homes listed For Sale in Sacramento County this June, logged a 41.2% increase in numbers over home listings in July of 2013.  The improvement in home inventory numbers has been continuing for several months. 
SOLD homes declined –0.2%, while homes moving to PENDING status were 9.3% above numbers for July 2013.  
We continue to experience a more balanced buyer-seller market, in comparison to a year and a half ago.

Homes listed For Sale in Sacramento County this June, logged a 57.6% increase in numbers over home listings in June of 2013.  The improvement in home inventory numbers has been continuing for several months. 
However, SOLD homes declined –6%, while homes moving to PENDING status were 11.2% above numbers for June 2013.  
We continue to experience a more balanced buyer-seller market, in comparison to a year and a half ago.

Homes listed For Sale in Sacramento County this May, logged a 69.9% increase in numbers over home listings in May of 2013.  The marked change year over year has been continuing for a number of months. 
However, SOLD homes declined –18.2%, while homes moving to PENDING status were 6.7% above numbers for May 2013.  
We enjoy a more balanced buyer-seller market, in comparison to a year and a half ago.

sacramento housing statistics: Housing Inventory Continues Improvement in Sacramento County - 12/11/13 10:01 AM
Sacramento County Housing Statistics demonstrate what a difference a year can make!
The number of property listed FOR SALE in comparison to the percentage transitioning to PENDING status or SOLD is continuing improvement from a year ago. As we enjoy a more balanced market between buyers and sellers.
Last month Sacramento County recorded an 83.1% jump in “For Sale” listings, in comparison to November of 2012. However, SOLD homes declined 30.5% for November 2013 vs. November 2012.
The following charts provide sales statistics for the month of November followed by numbers for the previous month of October.

sacramento housing statistics: It's Not Only The Greater Sacramento Housing Market That's GONE WILD! - 07/13/13 10:47 AM
While sitting here at my computer processing statistical information for Sacramento County Home Sales, I heard the familiar whup-whup-whup sounds of the Sheriff’s helicopter flying overhead. 
Living as close to the American River as I do, I often hear the police aircraft hovering above during summer months, when rafters and other fun loving folks find a place to cool off in the water. 
It was the prolonged period the whirlybird sound continued, that reminded me today is the Third Annual “Rafting Gone Wild” event. I put a hold on statistical analysis, grabbed the camera, jumped on my bicycle and headed for the river.
