sacramento real estate trends: Sacramento County Listing and Sales Statistics for March 2019 - 04/05/19 05:00 PM
Sacramento County experienced a -0.9% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in March 2019 vs. the same month a year ago. 
For the same period there was a -7.6% decrease in homes SOLD.  Pending sales increased 3.1%
Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low. More homes are available, making finding a suitable home easier.  It's a GREAT time to buy.

Sacramento County experienced a 21.7% increase in number of homes listed FOR SALE in March 2018 vs. the same month a year ago.

For the same period there was a -5.3% decrease in homes SOLD. Pending Sales increased 6..3%.

Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low.  For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

Sacramento County experienced a -20% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in June 2017 vs. the same month a year ago.
For the same period there was a -7.8% decrease in homes SOLD. Pending Sales increased 11.3%. 
Interest rates continue to remain reasonably low.  For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

Sacramento County experienced a -18.4% decrease in number of homes listed FOR SALE in February 2017 vs. the same month a year ago.
For the same period there was a -10.2% decrease in homes SOLD, and Pending Sales decreased -9.5%. 
Interest rates remain reasonably low.  For those able to find suitable homes, it's a GREAT time to buy.

sacramento real estate trends: Sacramento is Forecast to be 4th Hottest Housing Market in 2017 - 12/05/16 05:30 PM
It the last few days, it was exciting to hear that Sacramento is forecasted to be the 4th hottest housing market in the country in 2017.
The current average home price in Sacramento is $360,000.
Realtor.com analysts estimate Sacramento home values increased 7% in 2016.  
There continues to be scant housing inventory in our vicinity.  Interest rates remain low, but for those fortunate enough to find a suitable home in this competitive market it's a good time to buy!

If you are living in Greater Sacramento, and have been getting whiplash while watching the nosedive of Wall Street numbers the past few days, I have some good news to temper your spirit.  Zillow has reported Sacramento is leading the nation in the housing recovery, with home values that have increased 26% year over year! 
The Sacramento Bee reports half of Sacramento homes are selling in 10 days or less.  Increased values have created more equity sellers, rather than the glut of short-sale listings produced these past several years.
