buyers agents: Why You Need a Buyer’s Agreement EVERY TIME - 02/01/20 09:27 PM
There’s nothing more frustrating than spending a lot of time showing homes to a buyer, only to have them decide it’s not time for them to make a move right now.
Wait – yes there is. There most certainly is.
It’s even more frustrating when you spend time showing a buyer a bunch of properties, and then they DO buy – with someone else.
That’s why you need to protect yourself with a buyer’s agreement.
Protection Through a Buyer’s AgreementA buyer’s agreement protects you, but it also protects a buyer by listing clear expectations from each party.

buyers agents: Does a Buyer’s Agent Sell Homes? - 02/16/19 09:20 PM
I unexpectedly walked into some controversy with my last post about how to effectively show a home. I talked a lot about how a buyer’s agent should highlight the positives of the home to help the buyer seem themselves in it.
Some of the comments I got included “You sound like you’re selling the home – not a buyer’s agent!”

When someone is ready to buy a home, it’s 99% certain that they are going to look up advice on how to go about the process. Even folks who are not first-time buyers look for information because they assume, correctly, that the market has changed a lot since they last purchased.
It’d be great if people took advice from you or another qualified professional, but unfortunately, they don’t. As a result, some of the information they receive is good, some is bad, and some is downright ugly.
However, being a great buyer’s agent means knowing what people are being told and how you’ll … (19 comments)

“One of the greatest regrets in life is being what others would want you to be, rather than being yourself.” --Shannon L. Alder
Personality is such a fascinating thing. We all have specific traits that stand out more than others in the way we live our lives. Our values are certainly important, and our goals are important – but often, the best thing we can do for ourselves is discover our real personality and live in harmony with that.
Wizehire, a software company that specializes in helping brokers grow their teams, did an interesting study this spring. They administered specific profile tests to over … (0 comments)
