The Nyack Park Conservancy is involved in the revitalization of Nyack Memorial Park including a brand new playground with a really cool slide built in to the side of a hill, and a a skate park as well. hudson river: HBO Coming To Nyack

It looks like Nyack will be a location for a new HBO series called “The Leftovers”. The story is based on the best-selling novel by Tom Perrotta. Interesting story where 2 percent of the population just vanishes. It reminds me of a Peter Weir film “Picnic at Hanging Rock” where a class from a girls school in Australia go on a picnic and a few of the girls just vanish-very mysterious. The casting director will be looking for townspeople to be extras for the series. Anyone interested is encouraged to audition from 4-7 at the Nyack Center this Saturday. Justin Theroux … (0 comments)
