Glen Carbon, Illinois is beautiful anyway, but the G.L.E.N. (Gardening,Landscaping,Enhancing Nature) Committee is working to make it look even better. They're hosting a special meeting at the Glen Carbon Community Center on August 13, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. The committee will be viewing plans for the new village limits welcome signs and discussing landscaping ideas for these sites.
