It is a NXTbook that contains information about towns and villages within 2 counties, and home sales statistics broken down by school district! This resource has just been updated to include 2009 data, and now provides numbers for the last 5 years (2004-09)! It is a fantastic source of information and is fun to use! Check it out today!!! westchester: What kind of a house can I get for $500,000 in Northern Westchester/Putnam counties?

While working with buyers, my job is, of course, to find them the absolutely best buy in their price range. In most cases, the buyers are looking at quite a few towns before making their selection, therefore, I have selected the houses that offer most value for the money in Northern Westchester and Putnam counties (those communities along I-684, and bordering Connecticut). Below is a list of "best buys" at/around $500,000 mark that are currently on the market, and are not foreclosures or short sales.
