The e-mail notifying me that he signed my guest book arrived on Monday.  He had visited my website some hours earlier.  In responding to his e-mail, it was apparent that the location was unusual.  It said “...@mail.ru.”  A quick Google search reveal that ".ru" is Russian internet provider. A reason that “Russia” caught my attention, is that I sold a home to a first time home buyer from Russia, who had a charming accent.  In the e-mail response back to him, I casually asked if he were using a Russian provider.  He responded back that he would like to know “more … (1 comments)

Last night was the last evening of our College Station, Texas Citizens’ Police Academy. It is essentially an extended tour (ten Tuesday nights) of the Police Department.  Different officers form the presentation team, with a first and second session each evening.  It was a very interesting experience. Our graduation will be next Tuesday evening in College Station. Peace officers, as a group, have fascinated me for a long time.  Most of them are great assets to our communities.
