point2: E-Pro is a waste of a designation - 12/01/08 03:28 AM
The E-Pro designation is a complete waste of money.
Yeah, I just went there. For many agents, the E-Pro designation is an “opportunity” to learn about all of the ‘new’ tools available to agents. And sure it does live up to the promise of a bunch of new tools, but it is a waste of money.
Think about it, you are on ActiveRain networking with some of the top agents in the Country. You can search blogs for many great new tools, and often find these things before anyone ever has a clue about them:
Example: home411.com.  I was one of … (122 comments)

point2: How many Point2 websites is enough? - 11/29/08 08:59 AM
If you haven't had an opportunity to read Susan Friedmann’s newest book “Riches in Niches: How to Make it BIG in a small Market, I would suggest you pick it up.
We have found many niches to work on, however we cannot seem to figure out how to put all of this information into ONE powerful website.
Our Sellvi.com website had 3000+ unique visitors this month with over 30 new prospects. However, we haven't even begun to put the information into the site that needs to be there.

point2: Point2 Themes: Which are the Best? - 10/19/08 10:17 AM
As I begin to build my second point2 website I am stuck on the theme of the website. I know that professional members have two different templates to choose from.
But, I still can't figure out which template is the best to build a main base from. Even though I plan to make changes through the templates I am having trouble finding the right theme to use for my site.
So in my search to find the best template based theme I have a few questions you might be able to help me with:
What theme are you using and why?

point2: Google Sitemaps and Website SEO? - 10/05/08 01:12 AM
Does anyone know how Google Sitemaps can affect your SEO? I have been working on helping my website rank in Google. Within 1 year I have been able to move up into the top 5 pages of multiple categories and the top 2 pages within 2 categories. However, I would like to make sure my page is featured all over. Any idea how to do this?
Do I need to always update my google sitemap? Are there other ways to rise in Google?
-- And if anyone really knows, how do I move up in Yahoo as well? Google is by … (5 comments)

point2: Progress Report for September: Marketing, Organization, Website, Etc. - 10/10/07 10:10 AM
Over the past month I have started to see some of the same readers commenting on my blogs: I want to start out by saying:
THANK YOU!
I have been a little down and out lately due to a cold, appendicitis, and lack of financial resources. Thus, I thought I'd give my progress report to make sure I'm on the right track to getting back in the swing of things:
My website is up and running. I have received 200+ hits in the past week: www.NickvRealEstate.comMy marketing packet is almost completed (I have about 5 pages left to go out of 25+ pages)I … (0 comments)
