Last weekend over Mother's Day I had a chance to see some causins I hadn't seen in years. Naturally, the topic of "what do you do" for a living came up. When I was in the spotlight, I explained I helped realtors, travel companies, yacht brokers, car dealers, restaurants and other small businesses with their email newsletter marketing needs. I received a blank stare in response. In this day and age, I figured everyone on the planet understood this communication tool. He asked, "Why would anybody need that? I do the Pay Per Click marketing on both Yahoo and Google, and if you do them also, you know they can add up fast. Here's my problem: I get different "statistics" from different analysis tools. What I'm really wondering is, "Why does my google stats say I'm getting 50 clicks" on a particilar day but my stats using a stat tracker programs says I'm only getting 12 unique visitors? I realize cookies may have something to do with it, but that's a big difference. And then I check my web host, Go Daddy, and it says I'm getting like 2800 pages visits on (5 comments)
