        Amherst New Hampshire celebrates its 250th anniversary (1760 - 2010) with Heritage Days on  
Saturday and Sunday, September 24-26.  
         The 250th Anniversary is going to be a great event to celebrate the rich history and historic beauty of Amherst, New Hampshire. 
           You can take a guided tour throughout the Amherst Historic District and on Sunday, visit 3 historic mansions. 
         Most of the events take place on the Village Green, but some events are at other venues.

  One of my favorite fall events in New Hampshire is the Beaver Brook Association Fall Festival. 
 The theme this year is "Forever Nature"
    The Beaver Brook Association encourages people from New Hampshire and neighboring states to enjoy nature.  There are activities to emphasize the importance of wildlife and environmental conservation.

       Visitors from New Hampshire and beyond make it a point to attend.  Last year there were over 1200 attendees!

        The weather couldn't be better and what better way to celebrat the beginning of the fall season than a Beer Festival!
        The City of Nashua, Frank FM and Great American Downtown are sponsoring the FIRST NASHUA BEER FESTIVAL.
      The Nashua Beer Festival will take place, rain or shine on Saturday - September 18th at Holman Stadium from 4-8 p.m.

          Fall in New Hampshire is my favorite time of year.  The Days are Hot and the Nights are cool.  There is a hint of fall in the night air and the sweet smell of the fall bounty.
         Mother nature turns all the leaves into the most beautiful panolpy of colors and patterns one can image.  We are lucky in New Hampshire to be able to experience this wondrous and inspirational time of year.
        I just had a feeling when I started driving to meet a client today that something special was going to happen... and guess what I discovered?

     The Milford New Hampsire Lion's Club is holding a dog contest to raise funds to benefit the Lion's community services and charities. 
     The title "NOT Just An Ugly Dog Contest" is a little bit confusing... The Lion's club believes that all dogs are considered beautiful...      The  New Hampshire real estate market has experienced nine consecutive months of increases.  However, in July, residential homes sales decreased by 32 percent.  The median price for residential sales fell 1 percent after 6 consecutive months of increases. 
     There were 811 residential homes salesin July 2010 compared to 1,188 in July 2009.  The median price fell from $220,468 in 2009 to $219,000 in July 2010.
     The good news is that cumulative homes sales for 2010 are 7 percent ahead of last year.  The median price in 2010 is $217,000 which is 3 percent over the 2009 median price … (20 comments)

        According to data released by the New Hampshire Association of REALTORS® (NHAR), New Hampshire home sales and prices continued to increase in June, compared to June 2009,
        The 1,289 statewide residential home sales in June 2010 marked a 10 percent increase over the 1,171 sold in June 2009.
        The 5,284 homes sold over the first six months of this year represented an 18 percent increase over the same period in 2009.
         The residential median price was $229,000 in June of this year.  This is a 2 percent increase from June 2009.
