Recently, the National Association of Home Builders announced the Nation’s First ‘Emerald’ Green Remodeling Project Certified in Phoenix. Interestingly enough, the home is located near the Phoenix Light Rail line which is proving to be a great place for “green-minded” people to hang their hats. According to the NAHB, “The 1,600-square-foot, 70-year-old ranch house is in the Pierson Place Historic District near the new light rail line.” If you are not familiar with the Pierson Place Historic District, it is located near the light rail station at Central/Camelback.
