tempe: Productive Way To Do A Walkthrough - 04/14/20 07:57 AM
Thanks to COVID-19, I have been doing a lot of walking lately.
Instead of a bunch of doom and gloom, I have been focusing on our current, past and future clients. Walks are a good time to reflect upon a lot of things.
They can also be quite productive...
Here's a couple of the photos I snapped recently while taking a walk with my dog. It was a beautiful morning, we walked over to a nearby neighborhood and I shot some photos of the neighborhood.
When I got home, I built a web page to let people know about how cool it is to live … (1 comments)

Wowza, what a fun game that was. ASU thumps UofA in the annual “Duel in the Desert” at Sun Devil Stadium. The yearly match up between the two schools is such a fun rivalry. The teams, the fans and the coaches always look forward to this game and the excitement is tough to match.

tempe: Another Hidden Gem in Tempe - 09/19/13 09:57 AM
If you were to ask people what they think of when you ask them about living Tempe Arizona, living on the lake might not be the first thing that comes to mind.
The Lakes in Tempe is kind of a hidden gem that sometimes gets overlooked. The area is a great combination of location and lifestyle and can be hard to beat for lakeside living in AZ.

Residents of The Lakes can enjoy driving their boat to Pier 54 for lakeside food and drink, too. A very cool bonus, for sure!.
Some of the other things that make The Lakes … (0 comments)

tempe: Agents And Sellers Should Check Data - 01/14/13 10:59 PM
I have had a few interesting discussions with buyers and with local agents in the past about the fact that not all data in the mls should be looked at as being 100% true or accurate. No, I’m not going to get in to the whole Zillow, Trulia, Realtor.com thing, I’m talking about agent entered data. Things like rooms sizes can be a hot button for some and school districts can be another.
Schools… Here in Tempe, we certainly get a lot of people searching for specific schools. While the very most popular school search comes from students and parents looking … (0 comments)

tempe: ASU Heads To San francisco - 12/04/12 08:42 PM
After a somewhat controversial start in becoming the head coach of the ASU football team, coach Todd Graham came in and did what many of the fans and boosters wanted. He beat UofA in one heck of a game down in Tucson. While a couple of wins slipped through the cracks, most people look at the year as a turning point in to a new era. The team seems to have much more discipline and focus and the term “In Todd We Trust” has been thrown around Tempe quite often.
Now that the regular season is over, the Sun Devils will … (0 comments)

tempe: Tempe Talking Transit - Again - 02/17/12 03:40 AM
More than any other city in Arizona that I can think of, Tempe loves it’s transit system. From the bus system to the Orbit neighborhood circulators to the very popular light rail system, tens of thousands of people move through Tempe neighborhoods each day via public transportation.
While a thriving public transit system has some very clear benefits, they do not come without costs. Budget cuts, economic pressures and changing business environments can all play a part in the services provided.
There have been many studies over the past few years concerning the viability of the Tempe transit systems. Our … (0 comments)

tempe: Name That Tempe Brew - 02/18/11 11:29 PM
Incase you haven’t heard, it’s beer week in Arizona. As part of beer week, there just happens to be a bunch of fun beer stuff going on.
Some of the participants in all of the craziness are the beer drinkers at Dave’s Electric Brewpub. Dave’s has a new brew coming out soon and it is brewed right here in Tempe. This is a classic IPA and is a similar recipe to the current Industrial Pale Ale they sell but with a higher alcohol content and higher hop content. Even though it isn’t completely ready for production, I got to try … (0 comments)

Tempe is a great community to live in. Tons of housing choices, good schools, good transportation system and some great people make up this awesome community. While budget cuts are a reality everywhere you look, Tempe has done a pretty good job in not having to severely hinder our way of life. Here’s an example from a recent article talking about Tempe Police Chief Tom Ryff “Doing More With Less.”
According to Chief Tom Ryff, a deep commitment to protect and serve by the entire department was at the core of helping to fight crime with less money.
