Not long ago, I came up with the term RailGating. Basically, it is a new way for people to enjoy the football games at Sun Devil Stadium while avoiding traffic and parking nightmares. Now that we have light rail available to drop people off right in front of Sun Devil Stadium, many people are using it to get to the games and a new term has been introduced to light rail riding Sun Devils. Oktoberfest at Tempe Town Lake is this weekend! With the weather looking good and the huge list of fun things being offered, who could say no? The Tempe Oktoberfest will be held Friday, October 2nd through Sunday, October 4th at Tempe Town Lake. Of course, the easiest way to get to all of the cool events at Town Lake ( in our opinion) is for you to take the light rail to 3rd Street and Mill. tempe light rail: Phoenix Light Rail Riders joining forces for Night Rail

Recently, the Metro Light Rail board of directors voted to extend the weekend hours of light rail in Arizona on Friday and Saturday nights. This extension allows Phoenix light Rail riders to ride until after 2am on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Given the fact that the extension is said to be implemented on a "trial period" of one year, a group of people have decided to help with an awareness campaign for the newly appointed hours.
