The 7th annual “Healing Field” tribute will once again be held at Tempe Beach Park September 10-12 from 5am to 11pm each day. If you have never taken the time to go to Tempe Town Lake to visit this memorial, you are missing something very special. What a cool tribute to those innocent lives lost from this cowardly attack on our freedoms. Please join us in honoring the nearly 3000 victims of the September 11th attacks on our country. The city of Tempe made national headlines this past week as a section of the Tempe Town Lake dam burst causing nearly a BILLION gallons of water to run down the river leaving behind a moody mess. The rubber dam built by Bridgestone burst near 10pm Tuesday evening. Within minutes of the dam bursting people called 911, warning sirens filled the air and the stories begin to hit the news channels.
