Winter on Maui started out with lots of rain, which was great, the Pineapple Express carried all the rain to the west coast. This last month we have had pristine days, and record giant surf. Here is picture of my son from a couple years ago. Jaws our Maui big wave spot has had a record year. Easy 50 ft waves and brave men charging some serious surf.
