fun: A bit of fun to make you laugh - 04/04/20 09:51 AM
I admit, this was put together I believe by a colleague at work. Made me smile and chuckle, so thought you might also enjoy it.
Just be careful because people are going crazy from being in lock down!
Actually I've just been talking about this with the microwave and toaster while drinking coffee and we all agreed that things are getting bad. I didn't mention anything to the washing machine as she puts a different spin on everything. Certainly not to the fridge as he is acting cold and distant. In the end the iron straightened me out as she said everything … (25 comments)

fun: Maybe it's a British thing! - 03/24/20 06:33 AM
Maybe it's a British thing, or possibly Jewish, but I don't think so. Although when I was growing up I was taught you had to be able to laugh at yourself and your troubles. Laughter often makes things seem better. It lifts your spirits. There are medical studies that laughter helps healing, although if you have a broken rib it might not.
A friend suggested I watch this video on YouTube this morning, as I think music and laughter is good for the soul I searched, found it and enjoyed it very much. I love musicals and I think it is clever … (21 comments)

fun: Being present just makes everything more enjoyable - 02/08/20 06:20 AM
Over the past few years I have meditated, trying to learn to be more present, and aware of what is happening around me. It helps to read people's body language when talking with them as you can quickly see if you are losing someone's interest. Here are … (13 comments)

fun: Dinosaurs were here! - 03/31/19 02:00 PM
Saturday saw some beautiful Spring almost Summer weather visit our area and Valley Forge Park was abuzz with families and couples walking, running, biking and enjoying all the park has to offer.
A little while ago an article was published that somewhere in the park several dinosaur fossils from the Triassic period had been found on a path. Hiking so often as I do there I have been keeping my eyes peeled. I thought I knew where but was unable to identify any specific fossils. Till yesterday, when I saw this gentleman explaining to his friend what he was looking at, right in the … (13 comments)

fun: Sunday Scribblings - 01/28/18 01:39 PM
It is a grey, dreary, damp, rainy and misty day here in Berwyn PA. It reminds me of a quote that above the clouds it is sunny. As I look up, I realize that as you rise through those clouds it gets lighter till you break through and you see sun and blue skies all alround you.
Also if you look down the clouds below block the grey miserable view.
Life can be like that, we can so oftenget caught up in the grey miseries of challenges and obstacles we forget it is still sunny and we can be grateful for what we … (12 comments)
