mansions: There are many different ways to get there! - 12/20/19 05:43 AM
I love adventure and being on a quest, part of the fun is enjoying the journey not just reaching the destination or goal.
I am currently visiting a friend in Germany. She is still working so I have a couple of days to entertain myself during the day. Yesterday, I decided to go to Ratzeburg, where I have been before and know how to get there using the local bus system, or thought I did.
I duly caught the right bus, and knew I needed to change and transfer to a different bus in the next village. However, my bus driver decided I … (21 comments)

mansions: Is Fall 2019 the time to sell your T/E or Main Line home? - 10/07/19 02:24 PM
Last week at our Devon office meeting Ron Clarke, our Senior Vice President for the PA/NJ/DE region, had a very upbeat message, in fact the most upbeat I have heard him be about the Main Line, Chester, Delaware and Montgomery Counties, market for several years. So, I asked him if we could get together and I could get his thoughts on selling your Main Line or Tredyffrin Easttown home right now in Fall 2019.
I travelled into our Philadelphia Center City office and met with Ron Clarke. I apologise in advance for the sound quality, it is a busy office and I … (7 comments)

mansions: Moving to Tredyffrin Easttown - 01/04/19 11:56 AM
Moving to Tredyffrin Easttown or T/E as locals call it.
We moved to this area almost 30 years ago and what attracted us was the school district. With three young boys we were looking for somewhere that we felt would provide a good education. Whilst that is a subjective thing to measure, the last few years have seen Niche rank Tredyffrin Easttown School District highly.
There are some things to understand about Tredyffrin Easttown School District. It is made up from two different townships, Tredyffrin Township, and Easttown Township who combined many years ago to provide a better level of education to the children between … (4 comments)

mansions: The Tredyffrin Easttown July 2017 Market Update - 08/11/17 07:53 AM
July 2017 Market Report for Tredyffrin Easttown Real Estate
I always find it interesting to hear national statistics bandied about in relation to local real estate. I noticed this year whilst everyone was talking about how the lack of  inventory was causing a drop in sales and a slow down in settlements that this was not the case for Tredyffrin Easttown Real Estate. So why don't national real estate stats apply to Tredyffrin Easttown Real Estate?
In May when everyone was crying how there were few if any pending sales Tredyffrin Easttown Real Estate had them stacked up for June and July settlements. … (5 comments)

mansions: Quality Value Proposition - Your QVP, do you know what it is? - 08/19/14 03:43 AM
What are you being paid for?
I have been thinking about this post for several days. Sparked by a similar post last week and something I read today and others comments it reminded me of two stories.
Picasso was walking in a park, recognized by a woman who had known him when he was younger she approached and asked if he would sketch something for her. He quickly completed the drawing and asked the woman for a large sum in payment. She asked him how he could ask her for such a large sum, when it had only taken him minutes to … (2 comments)
