It is hot and humid in Berwyn today, with constant rain on and off. Hard to plan anything to do outside? Maybe a trip to King of Prussia Mall is a solution.
Since the opeing in 1963 with two separate portions of the mall which was linked with an expansion opening in 2016 joining the two together this has been a go to choice on the East Coast for luxury shopping.

With 7 major department stores and a wonderful collection of luxury stores in which you can shop, dream, or simply admire, the 2,900,000 sq feet of space is beautifully designed and gives … (4 comments)

things to do: It may feel like Winter but there is plenty to enjoy - 12/14/17 09:14 AM
Winter definitely feels as if it has arrived, with cold temperatures and snow on the ground. It makes you feel like staying indoors by a fire. But there are plenty of things you can do close to Tredyffrin Easttown to enjoy the season.
Typically there are all the decorations up in villages and towns along the Main Line as well as people's house decorations as well. But a quick trip into Philadelphia using SEPTA allows you to visit the Christmas Market set up around City Hall. Having just got back from Germany where we saw multiple Christmas Markets the Philadelphia Version is a … (5 comments)

things to do: Tredyffrin Easttown Real Estate Things to do in the Fall - 08/16/17 11:23 AM
One of the great things about living in Tredyffrin Easttown is that there are so many events one can attend and enjoy. We are only about 20 miles outside of Philadelphia with all that the city has to offer with museums, the orchestra, theater and award winning restaurants.
But locally too we have many great events. One such resource is the local Penn State Campus. Penn State Great Valley, located at 30 East Swedesford Road, Malvern PA 19355 has lectures and events throughout the year, they just released their fall calendar and there are several events worth noting.

Motown meets Jazz sounds like something to set … (6 comments)

things to do: Sunday is a great day to walk - 05/14/17 06:57 PM

Yesterday, Saturday, it rained all day. Today the weather started off cool but dry, so I decided to go to my favorite place and go for a walk. Those living in Tredyffrin Easttown have Valley Forge National Park just a few minutes away. There is a wonderful circuit you can walk, goes up and down and it is about 5.5 to 6 miles long. I walk pretty briskly so it took me about 1 1/2 hours. There were lots of people out walking and running today. One Mom and her daughter were running I … (15 comments)

Everyone, trainers, members and staff greet you and are willing to offer help if you need it.
Being a local business we wanted to feature it and so we interviewed Dominic Hughes the owner to get a little more background to the club. We discovered they have a great relationship with the local Tredyffrin … (7 comments)

things to do: An alternative to Longwood Gardens right on The Main Line, Chanticleer - 06/05/14 01:52 AM
Last week I posted some video footage of Chanticleer Gardens in Wayne, Radnor Township on Philadelphia's Main Line. However, it is such a great place I had additional footage and thought you might like to see a little more of these wonderful gardens. They make a great alternative to Longwood Gardens for a visit and can provide plenty of inspiration to you for your own yard.

If you are interested in seeing any homes in the area surrounding the gardens give us a call, this is a very desirable place to live on Philadelphia's Main Line, close to Wayne with lots … (0 comments)

things to do: Like wine? - Winterthur Museum has a great exhibit planned - 03/06/12 06:09 AM
Wine has been a feature within societies for thousands of years, just recently they salvaged some champagne bottles off the ocean floor that were on their way to Rusiia in the 17th century and they were able to work out from which vineyard they had come.

Well that fascination with wine from society to society can be seen in a new exhibit at Winterthur Museum. A recent article in County Lines examines all the features of the exhibit and what will be covered.
It opens April 28 and you can easily plan a visit to Winterthur, tour the grounds … (3 comments)

things to do: Old Forge Crossing Condo news - 02/09/12 06:37 AM
For those who live here, the condo association fee at first seems high but it covers lots of things.
Gas for the dryer, gas for cooking, gas for hot water, water, pool fee, tennis courts, exterior maintenance, trash collection, a club house and snow clearing, a host of social activities arranged for homeowners and those who rent here.
What it does not cover is the cost for the sewer, this is billed separately and this year it is $250, bills go out during February and are due March 1st, if you are later than March 10th there is a late fee. … (0 comments)
