I've posted before about the dangers of publishing your current or future geographical location on Facebook, but here is an excellent example of why we need to be careful with all online social media. These folks didn't even realize their photos were being automatically geotagged on Twitter, and were nearly robbed because of it. Online social media such as Facebook and Twitter don't ask permission to publish your personal information, they ask forgiveness after the fact, and provide an option to turn off that particular feature.
