animals: Animals of the MLS - 10/08/16 12:01 AM
This week's edition of Animals of the MLS features a content kitty who is curious enough to be involved in the action all the while still guarding their favorite scratching post from any strange intruder who may attempt to overtake their territory. This family friend is of the long-haired variety so careful and thorough cleaning would most certainly need to be taken in to consideration when placing a home for sale on the market. One of the worst first impressions a potential home shopper can have is of a dirty and un-kept home. Having pets in general can add additional cleaning task … (15 comments)

This week's edition of Animals of the MLS features a lazy tabby who doesn't care what is going on around them as long as their favorite lounging spot is available. There's no way this kitty was going to move for anything other than feeding time and possible to rub up against some legs while purring the day away. This feline is showing the photographer/agent that this is their territory and they won't be easily whisked away.
There are generally two kinds of cats when entering a property to show prospective home buyers. The first variety will greet you at the door and give you a … (14 comments)

This week's edition of Animals of the MLS features two best friends ready to play. Relegated to the backyard for this photo shoot they are curious as to when they'll get to join in on the fun. One of our furry friends even has his favorite ball in his mouth eager for someone to come out and throw it for him! I can only imagine the energy created when these two are feeling feisty!
These are a larger breed of dog, which can be intimidating to many individuals who aren't a fan of dogs or pets in general. Even though most pet owners would swear their … (16 comments)

We're going back to the feline variety in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. This tabby is front and center for all of the action going on in their domain. They weren't about to let a stranger roam through their home without a personalized guided tour. I bet this curious kitty followed this agent from room to room brushing up against their legs just begging for treats and attention.
Interesting to note that this cat almost perfectly blends in to it's surroundings. There are some home owners who go above and beyond to cater to their pets but subconsciously I'm not sure these home … (13 comments)

We've got a peeping Tom, or should I say, a peeping pooch in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. Ears perked, and patiently waiting for someone to let him inside so he can be a part of the action, this curious canine is trying his best to figure out why he's been relegated to the back yard. I'm sure he wasn't kept banished for very long, but you can imagine all of the tail wagging and excitement that ensued when the home owners finally allowed him to join the family again once this agent's photo shoot was complete.
This appears to be a larger breed … (17 comments)

Our furry friend is front and center in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. Ears perked, and patiently waiting for a treat this featured family pet could not be more curious as to why this agent is snapping photos of their yard. I'm sure they are worried their buried treasure strewn about the premises might be discovered so they're keeping an eye out on this stranger in their domain. You can bet that this agent wasn't able to escape the home without plenty of belly rubs given out.
Not a very large breed of dog, this animal's size certainly isn't imposing, however, smaller dogs … (17 comments)

This week's edition of Animals of the MLS brings us a happy hound eager to be a part of the photo shoot going on in their home. The moment this agent walked through the front door I can only imagine this curious canine walking from room to room following along side every step of the way. The friendly demeanor and posture of this four-legged friend would put most people immediately at ease and the agent probably spent many moments side tracked on the task at hand to stop and give some attention and plenty of belly rubs along the way.  This picture shoot most … (13 comments)

This week's edition of Animals of the MLS brings us an older but curious canine who just wants in on a piece of the action. Our furry friend is definitely showing their age so for them to travel all the way over to where this agent is taking photos just goes to show how much of a social creature they really are. The gray whiskers around it's face and nose are clear indications that their best and most playful years are most likely behind them, however, I'm sure they still find plenty of time to run, play, and explore both inside and … (13 comments)

Do you ever get the feeling like you're being watched? We have a lurking hound in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. How sad does our furry friend look peering from the outside longing to be a part of the activity going on? It makes you want to walk right over to that sliding glass door and let him in. You can imagine his excitement if the agent taking these photos would have ventured over towards him. You can bet his tail would have been wagging and he would have been jumping with enthusiasm hoping he was about to invited back in … (14 comments)

We have a super happy hound in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. This little pug appears to be up for anything as he follows this real estate agent around his property to give a personal guided tour. I'm sure he's showing her all the great spots to lie down in the shady grass and pointing out the best places in the yard to run around and bark at the sound of passing cars and neighbors. If this agent played their cards right, I just bet he even shared with them a few secret spots where he's hidden toys and buried … (13 comments)

We have an exhausted feline friend in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. I don't think a herd of stampeding buffalo could get this kitty to move from it's napping spot. However, with all of that comfortable looking furniture in the room why they would choose to lounge on the ground is a question to consider. Unless this pet has been banned from reclining on the household sofa there are much more comfortable places to sleep.
Even as this kitty is clearly docile and doesn't feel the need to run away at the sight of a stranger taking photos of … (14 comments)

We have a sad but curious looking doggy in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. Front and center, our family friend is definitely checking up on the agent taking pictures of their domain. He could also just be waiting for someone to throw his ball or perhaps grab his chew toy and play a good old fashioned game of tug-o-war. Either way, this pooch is in a position to survey what's happening and make sure everything is on the up-and-up.

Not a very large breed of dog, this animal's size certainly isn't imposing, however, smaller dogs can be more vocally intimidating than their more size-able counterparts. … (21 comments)

There's a twist in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. Usually this weekly series shows a domesticated pet in it's home environment. However, we have a special fowl friend to feature in today's post. If you've been on YouTube or watched television shows dedicated to online viral videos you've no doubt seen multiple home made clips of geese or ducks attacking unsuspecting children and adults alike who are either just trying to enjoy a day outside or perhaps attempting to feed these usually peaceful animals.
In an attempt to show this neighborhood's community amenities, this agent certainly put themselves in a position to end … (23 comments)

We've got a triple threat team of fabulous Fido's coming at us in this week's edition of   Animals of the MLS. The first two friends are easy to spot but we only get a blurred glimpse of the hindquarters and tail of the third pooch in the lower left corner of the photo. Clearly the agent taking this picture happend upon a playful time of day as the tennis ball chew toy is proudly being displayed and not more than a few inches away from one of the family pets. I'm sure that tennis ball never gets a rest with these three … (24 comments)

My weekly Animals of the MLS blog post had to take a one week hiatus while I was away at church Summer Camp last week but we're back in the saddle (pun intended).  We've got a floppy eared and curious dog racing in to check out the scene in this week's Animals of the MLS. He can't get there fast enough to ensure this strange, picture taking agent is a friend not a foe. I'm sure our furry friend zipped around the corner at such a trot that the agent didn't have time to pull back and reset for the photo, however, … (27 comments)

There's a bit of a twist in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS.  Most of the pets featured in this weekly blog series are alive and well. This week, however, showcases an animal that was in the wrong place at the wrong time. Regardless of your opinions on hunting for sport, what we have here is certainly not the best decoration to have casually staring at prospective buyers as they evaluate a home for sale. Even though this woodland creature is in a relaxing and non-threatening pose, it's still awkward and perhaps a little bit creepy to enter a room in … (18 comments)

It might take you a minute to find the pet featured in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. Is he a peeping Tom or is he a curious George? In either case, this doggy desperately wants to be a part of the action going on inside of his domain. Clearly of the Basset Hound variety he lacks the limbs to elevate his view enough to get a clearer idea of what this agent is doing snapping photos around his property. All he can do is sit and ponder the reasons why he has been assigned to the backyard instead of being able … (21 comments)

We've got two large, lurking beasts in this week's edition of Animals of the MLS. Curious as to the reason they've been relegated to the backyard, these best friends are peering through the glass trying to catch a glimpse of the stranger taking pictures who gets to enjoy being inside while they're stuck outside. The pleasant demeanor on their faces and neutral stances tell you that chances are slim that these boys would be a threat to anyone, however, their sheer size is enough to intimidate smaller children, older individuals, or even those who are bent towards having a fear of animals. … (30 comments)

Everyone has that one friend who always maintains a pleasant and easy going disposition no matter what life throws at them on a daily basis. I bet this week's featured pet on Animals of the MLS hasn't had a bad day in his life. Perfectly comfortable to be chubby and lovable the expression on our furry friends face tells you he doesn't have a care in the world and his owners are most likely as cool and calm as he is. I'd go out on a limb and guess this big-boned bulldog hasn't missed too many meals and judging by his closely guarded … (23 comments)

Sometimes in life you get so tired that not even a stampeding herd of wild buffalo could get you to move. This week's featured pet on Animals of the MLS looks like he's old, tired, and comfortable enough not to worry about anyone taking his picture or even invading his space. The only sign that our furry friend cares one bit about the agent snapping photos is his one curious ear raised in the air. The rest of his body is settled in for a long snooze on his favorite area rug. Just about the only circumstance that could possible get this rotund canine to move … (23 comments)
