Halloween is a festive time full of ghouls, ghosts, candy, and costumes. Whether you or your children go to work or school imitating a favorite comic book hero, famous celebrity, or favorite historical figure there is plenty of fun to be had by all. One of my daughter's chose the popular costume as 1970's Hippie this year. We've come a long way in Halloween costumes since 1970 when a plastic mask and thin plastic smock were the popular and easy choice available. Of course back then hardly anyone thought of the safety aspects of highly flammable plastic outfits and masks that a child could barely see … (36 comments)
