The popular live Blakeney Sounds of Summer Concert Series is back this Saturday, June 3rd and runs through July 8th, 2023. Concerts are weekly every Saturday evening from 7:00 pm till 9:00 pm and FREE. Just bring your blankets and lawn chairs! Well-behaved, leashed dogs are also welcome. Novant Health Breaks Ground For The Ballantyne Medical Center
Novant Health broke ground on February 25th for its new 38-acre Ballantyne Medical Center campus, which will include a hospital and a 56,000-square-foot medical office building. The Center's services will include emergency care, inpatient care, women’s care (including birthing suites), expanded diagnostic services, and surgical services. The $180 million investment will bring acute care resources to the Ballantyne area in south Charlotte at a 168,000-square-foot state-of-the-art medical facility planned to open in 2023.
The Novant Health Ballantyne Medical Center will also include walking trails and space for community events.

Each Wednesday this January (6, 13, 20, 27) you can donate your used and unneeded electronics to Goodwill. Donations can be taken to the Goodwill van, which will be parked from 11:00 AM till 1:00 PM outside Brigham Retail in Ballantyne Corporate Park next to the Cabo Fish Taco and Potbelly Sandwich Shop (11611 North Community House Road).

You'll enjoy an enchanting display of edible creations. Gingerbread Lane is free to visit and open to the public. For a $1 minimmum donation you can vote for your favorite gingerbread house entry. There are three separate competitions for giingerbread house entries: professional, amateur, and one for kids ages 6-12. All proceeds will go to the Levine Children's Hospital in Charlotte.
