Ballantyne Corporate Park has announced its "Funds 4 Food" Virtual Food Drive benefitting Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina. Instead of collecting actual food items, BCP is asking businesses and individuals to make a far greater impact by making an online monetary donation this November. Monetary donations allow the Metrolina Food Bank to deliver greater amounts of food. Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina serves some 700+ local charitable organizations in North and South Carolina who support hunger relief efforts of soup kitchens, emergency shelters and emergency pantries, as well as low-income day care centers.

Last month I posted about the Ballantyne Corporate Park's 8th annual Cans For A Cause Food Drive in support of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina in Charlotte. The Cans For A Cause Food Drive, which ended on April 20th, proved to be a great success with 75,649 pounds of food donated through the Ballantyne Corporate Park's drive, alone.

Ballantyne Corporate Park's 8th annual Cans for A Cause Food Drive in support of the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina in Charlotte, begins on Monday, April 11th and runs through April 20th. You can help this great cause by donating canned meats, vegetables, fruits, soups, peanut butter and other canned food goods. Collection bins will be located throughout the Ballantyne Corporate Park building lobbies. In 2015, almost 141,000 pounds of food were donated through this drive. Why not help surpass this number in 2016?

Just in time for Veteran's Day next week and the upcoming holiday travel season, south Charlotte's Ballantyne Corporate Park is sponsoring the Packs For Patriots Program by collecting travel sized toiletries and individual-sized snacks for returning troops. The drive will run from November 9th through November 18th. Blue collection bins will in building lobbies across Ballantyne Corporate Park.
Rack Pack bags are placed on the beds (known as racks) of service members who are returning from deployment to provide them with basic necessities for the first 48 hours after their return stateside.
