Dentsply Sirona Expands Operations In Ballantyne
Dentsply Sirona, a global manufacturer of professional dental products and technologies, is investing $3.3 million as part of an office expansion in Charlotte, expected to bring more than 300 jobs to the Ballantyne area and making Charlotte a commercial hub for the York, Pennsylvania-based manufacturer's U.S. operations. 
 
Dentsply Sirona plans to hire people in sales, customer service, clinical education, marketing and executive positions in Charlotte. It's estimated that these jobs will deliver an average economic impact of $23 million to the region.

The months supply of homes at 1.9 months and a 21.1% drop in new listings keeps the Ballantyne/28277 zip code housing market a seller’s market.

Ballantyne Corporate Park was developed by the Bissell Company in Charlotte, which prior to the sale, had developed and owned the BCP office buildings, four hotels, golf course and other property – most of which has now been purchased by Northwood Investors.
