16th Annual Charlotte Jewish Film Festival February 1- 23
The ever-popular Charlotte Jewish Film Festival returns to Charlotte nn February 1st. The Charlotte Jewish Film Festival had it's beginnings in 2005 with the screening of just two films, attended by fewer than 150 people. 16 years later, in 2020, it's expected that more than 5,000 Charlotte area residents will attend during the 23 day film festival. This annual event is a great opportunity for film lovers to get their fill of specialty, independent, documentary, and art house films viewed through the lens of the Jewish experience both in America and elsewhere.
Charlotte's Jewish Film Festival organizers are sponsoring their 4th Annual Jewish Film Festival Fan Appreciation Day on, Sunday July 30th. What a great way to enjoy some wonderful movies at only $5 each. You'll be able to attend three movies at three theaters throughout the day. Norman: The Moderate Rise and Tragic Fall of a New York Fixer at 1:00 pm Fanny's Journey at 4:00 pm Robert Klein Still Can't Stop His Legs at 7:00 pm All three films will be presented at the Regal Ballantyne Village Stadium Theater located at 14815 Ballantyne Village Way.
