The 2016/2017 school year begins in the Charlotte, North Carolina area in exactly two weeks. Schools are opening in York and Lancaster Counties in South Carolina tomorrow. Ashley Furniture Home Stores Together with WSOC-TV, Ashley Furniture is collecting school supplies to benefit both Communities In School in Charlotte and Classroom Central and has placed collection bins in all eight of their store locations.
