People have continued to move to the Greater Charlotte area in large numbers despite the pandemic. According to the Charlotte Region Business Alliance, since March 2020, some 21,000 people moved to the Charlotte area.

We've had our large malls on the south side of town for years: SouthPark and Carolina Place. We've had our large outdoor malls like the Arboretum, Blakeney, Stonecrest.
