When we get ready to sell our homes and move, we start realizing just how much "stuff" we've managed to accumulate that we probably forgot about and don't need. Having moved many times, I'm a great believer in sorting through my "stuff" every year to minimize what does accumulate--and accumulate it does. It's true... home sellers spend a lot of time preparing, decluttering, and staging their homes for sale and then totally ignore the laundry room. I've shown beautiful houses with really "scary" condition laundry rooms. Preparing your laundry room as part of the staging process is like icing on the cake! And while it is a utilitatarian space on the whole, we can "sexy it up" for sure.
