My clients and I had spent several months looking for just the right home in south Charlotte's Providence corridor and Ballantyne without much success in finding one. Foreclosure and short sales as a percentage of total home sales in the Charlotte, North Carolina region remained very low at 0.2% in May 2023. This was a 50% drop from April's 0.4%, which had remained steady since January 2023, when the percentage stood at 0.6%
In May 2023, year-over-year lender mediated sales were 50% lower at 7 sales compared with May 2022, while short sales remained unchanged at 2 compared with May 2022. Month-over-month, foreclosure sales declined from 13 to 7; (24 comments)

Taste of Charlotte, has been one of Charlotte's most popular annual food, wine and beer festivals since 1998. It returns this coming Friday, June 9th and runs through Sunday, June 11th.
